Daily Duppy Episode 6 - Scorcher & Terminator

And it's Tee! Who remembers Terminator's F64 for SB.TV in 2009? The darkside pioneer made a big impact back then with his unique spitting style and now he's back alongside Scorcher for GRM Daily's latest Daily Duppy. Both artists do their thing with Terminator highlighting his consistency after his 3 year hiatus and Scorcher going 'ard as per usual but overall Terminator definitely steals the show, and we 'ere at Cor' Grimey say it's good to see him back.

Devlin feat. Wretch 32 - Off With Their Heads [Live Lounge]

Two of UK rap's heavyweights on one song? Yes please. Wretch and Devlins collaboration is a fast paced, aggressive clash of music and we love it! It's nice to see the two artists staying true to their craft and not getting washed away with mainstream success like some artists we could mention...

Casscade - Zoning

Casscade returns with his second video for Link Up TV for his latest track "Zoning". This deep track has the artist spitting with themes of hard work, trying to succeed and problems with the music scene. Casscade pours his thoughts out in the track, something that makes him stand out in the music scene so be sure to check it...But wait, wait, wait is that the UK rap Messiah K Koke we see?! If you're gonna have a cameo you've gotta do it right and Casscade gets it spot on. This is a good look.

WHAT'S THE ALBUM SAYING!?: Mynature - It's My Nature

Finally! After months of waiting we 'ere at Cor' Grimey are glad tell you fellow Grime/UK Music fans that the king of the grimeyy refix Mynature's debut album "It's My Nature" has dropped, and thats not the best bit, it's completely FREE! (no illegal downloads out 'ere, download link at the bottom).

The 20 track album is definitely a grimeyy masterpiece with Mynature going 'ardd throughout with his mad lyricism highlighting his talent as an artist. If you've liked Mynature's album preview tracks such as "It's Crazy" and "Around We Go" (which are defo two of the many standout tracks on the album) then you're not going to be disappointed with the other 18 tracks. There's no doubting that the London MC has been generous with this free tape, this is the kind of talent we'd spend money on.

The biggest surprise of the album has to be the 'ardd features. The majority of  tracks released pre-album have been him solo, excluding his collaboration with Ghetts with the "It's Crazy remix" (if you haven't heard it check it out fam!). With the likes of Dot Rotten, Raheem and Smiler on the album its a big look for Mynature having such established UK artists in the scene alongside him for this release.

Like we mentioned earlier 'It's My Nature' has every track going 'arddd but our personal stand out tracks have to be 'Stomach's Talking' featuring Dot Rotten which the London artist spits with his stomach portrayed by Dot Rotten about their conflicting views on getting money and staying on the right track and "Paper" which has Mynature going 'ardd alongside a catchy chorus about his lifestyle.

Another highlight of the tape are Mynature's more deeper tracks such as the "Thoughts" skit which shows him in a more personal light about trying to get away from the streets and focusing on his music, which is a continuous theme throughout the album. End of the day not a lot of artists can go quite as deep and personal on their tracks while staying lyrically consistent, so we 'ere at Cor' Grimey rate Mynature for doing it so effortlessly on his debut album.

Overall it's safe to say that "It's My Nature" was worth the wait and as the man himself says in the 'It's My Nature Intro' - "the reason why I took so long is because they say save the best till last" With a series of sickk features, 'ard tracks and 'arder bars, it feels like an album we have bought from HMV (other music shops are available) as it is such a high quality album. Regardless, this debut album certainly shows off why Mynature is one to watch in the UK scene. Watch this space!

You can download 'It's My Nature' here at: http://www.mynaturemusic.com/its-my-nature/

Prose (Steady & Efeks) - 'The Class of '94'

UK Hip-Hop duo Prose are at it again with the release of 'Class Of '94'. With 1994 being the year of arguably the best rap album, 'Illmatic' we can understand why Prose would want to go "back to the year '94". Prose, consisting of producer Steady and rapper Efeks have a digital album out 'Back In The Habit' for a mere £4 (thats basically a McDonalds meal) so what you waiting for?! get downloading!

Ard Adz - Dreaming Is Believing

Brixton Lyricist Ard Adz samples J-J-J-J-Jessie J with 'Dreaming Is Believing'. The Windy Music artist is joined by Treat on the first verse, probably one of the best verses we've seen from the rapper. With an album due out with longtime collaborator Sho Shallow things are looking good for Adz, we just cant wait to get our hands on it. WADD'ELSE??!!

Nolay - Warm Up Sessions

"I'm in love with the suffering, I fuck with the pain, its cold outside but I'm used to the rain, I stopped blazing no abuse to the brain, instead I drink booze and wash my liver down the drain"

Nolay returns with her first Warm Up Session for SB.TV. Nolay has proved herself to be one of the best UK female MC's in the scene at the moment. Giving us yet another glimpse at her singing voice (remember that 'ard Behind Barz session on Link Up TV?) Nolay is a woman of many talents. We also like the un-edited segment at the end, in the wise words of Nolay, "I know it was hard, I'm not disputing that, it's always hard"

Shystie feat. Azealia Banks - Control It

'Ere at Cor' Grimey we're feeling mighty lucky, the two Queens of the game are at it again. Yes, Shystie and Azealia Banks have released yet another collab, and we're gonna say this is even better than their first project 'Neptune'. No one in the rap scene is sounding quite like Shystie, her original sound complimented with the insane production of her tracks are showing just how brilliant she is. 'Control It' will be released properly with her upcoming E.P 'Pink Mist' in November.

No fellow UK rap and grime fans you're not seeing things all these sick artists have actually collaborated with each other for 1xtra's 10th anniversary. But before we tell you how 'ardd these guys go we have to give a big  shoutout to Radio 1xtra for the impact and contribution to the underground scene, UK Hip Hop and UK music altogether. There's no denying that the station has provided exposure to all the sick artists you see on these two sick tracks and many others and we 'ere at Cor' Grimey salute.

Back to the artists first of the two sick collaborations is truly a new grime classic with the '1xtra dub' featuring C4, Krept and Konan, L Marshall, RIO, PW and RoxXxan who all go 'ardd over the established grime producer Preditah's instrumental. Every artist goes in especially C4 who's mad flow wraps around the beat nicely and Konan who's sick punchlines shine through "If you wanna kiss you better holla at Logan" with L Marshall on the hook.

Next is Plus 10 featuring Sneakbo, Mic Righteous, Scrufizzer, Harry Shotta, Nolay, Lady Leshurr, Sincere and Ratlin in this vid of their live lounge collaboration. To be honest with all these artist need we say more. Yes, yes we do by saying it's 'ARD!. Spitting about 1xtra's history and impact on the music scene and themselves every artist goes inn! All demonstrating their sick lyricism.

There are so many other features to mark the celebration of 1xtra's 10th birthday which you can check out on the BBC 1xtra site but end of the day with all these artists alone coming together to make two respectively great tracks all we can say is congratulations BBC Radio 1xtra from Cor' Grimey.

Odotsheaman (give him a SB.TV already!), Icon Fivestar & Nick Notes has got us cracking up and gassed with their grimeyy take on Chief Keef's big hit "I Don't Like". Every artist goes inn especially Icon Fivestar with his sick punchlines "the only time your hard is when your watching pornhub", Nick Notes with his mad flow and Odotsheaman switching between comedic and 'ardd lyrics. End of the day there's no doubting these three South London artists are a triple threat.

Daily Duppy Episode 5 - Amplify Dot

It's been a great year for South London femcee Amplify Dot being signed to EMI Virgin Records earlier this year. Now Amplify Dot can put another achievement into her ever growing list by being the first femcee on GRM Daily's new Daily Duppy format. Being only two minutes long this short but sweet spitting session once again shows why Amplify Dot is one of the 'ardest femcees out there. Congratulations Dotty!

Abby Power - Better Place

Abby Power returns with yet another video from latest mixtape 'Vintage State Of Mind'. The hip-hop feel is a good look for Abby and we just wanna see what she drops next.

Elro feat. Mikill Pane & Ghetts - Real World (Remix)

Elro, Mikill Pane and Ghetts. Three very unique artists in the UK rap game at the moment but once they collaborate on a All Star Remix of Elro's "Real World" it's definitely something special. Also watch out for Elro shouting out to Lethal Bizzle with his trademark catchphrase. LEAVEEE ITT!

Brothers comprised of YSK, Mikez, Valence and Marky Weapz best known for their Ultimate Otis (and if you didn't know this where have you been fam!) has got us cracking up with their latest track 'Riders' featuring Mr Miniature. Shoutout to Pinero Beats (who's produced for the likes of DVS) for the 'ard instrumental. ''Lets join the pure intentions with the sinful ones, like imagine if drug dealer sponsor single mums''

George The Poet is back again with his articulate, well rounded look at the world around him. Inspiring.

Akala feat. English Frank - Educated Tug S**t

Come on! Akala and English Frank on the same track is definitely the definition of "Educated Tug S**t" with the visuals on SB.TV. The track underlying message is definitely the main highlight over English Frank's hard hitting bars and Akala's intellectual lyrics saying that being educated is much more important than street cred. Check it out!

Kidtazstik asks the question thats on all our lips ''Is This Life?''. Coming with quality over quantity (no longer then 2minutes out 'ere) the Kid is proving herself to be a strong artist in the game. Big up.
